I just graduated! Eliza was fantastic. Attentive and funny. Asks questions and hears the answer. It's obvious she loves what she does. She's very knowledgeable and the variety of people she could have small talk with amazed me. Everyone felt a connection. Those qualities make for a great PT.

Brett and Paige have been a huge help to me in recovering from back pain from a difficult pregnancy. I would highly recommend them for anyone seeking PT for pain, as Brett is very skilled at tailoring the exercises to specific needs.

My son required PT after a sports injury. My first impression was when I called to make his first appointment and the gentleman who answered was very polite and was able to get my son scheduled the very next day. At the first visit I feel like the initial evaluation was both informative as well as thorough, as the therapist asked questions while explaining the tests he was doing and the purpose for them. He also told us what the test would show him, as to how my son’s therapy would progress. The therapist also answered our questions and explained the timeline we would be looking at for rehab. We have been greeted by everyone we have met every time we have been there. Every person who works there is super helpful and positive. I absolutely love that they use a variety of exercises and techniques as well as multiple types of manipulatives to help adapt to patient’s individual needs. For example mu son’s injury was due to a pitching injury and the therapist incorporates his pitching mechanics into his therapy. He has gone as far as bringing a glove and having my son bring his so he could take my son outside to start throwing at further distance to start building his mobility back in that arm. I have been extremely pleased with the staff as well as the quality of care we have received.

Patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere and culture at Commonwealth is positive and encouraging. My physical therapist, Eliza is one of the most empathetic and compassionate people I have ever met. She truly cares about each of her patients, meeting them where they are in their healing journey. A business is only as good as their team and the team at Commonwealth is A+

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 🎀 in 2021. After having bilateral mastectomies in July '21... and then 2 add'l surgeries for reconstruction a few months later... I've nvr been without tightness and discomfort. My Plastic Surgeon recommended PT to me. Living in London... I checked with SEVERAL PTs in the London/Corbin area. None had experience working with mastectomy patients!! Another Plastic Surgeon recommended Allison Brumbley at Commonwealth Hand and Physical Therapy on Waller Ave in Lexington...as they send their patients to her. Soo happy I found Allison!!! Allison is experienced in treating my mastectomy issues and set up a plan of treatment for me. Commonwealth Hand and PT is located upstairs from the Arthritis Ctr of Lexington on Waller Ave. Highly recommended Allison if you are experiencing mastectomy issues. Allison is a sweetheart to work with. She instantly makes you feel at ease with situation. She values your time and your privacy in treating you.

Excellent care given here. Very attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Eliza has been my therapist and with her care, including exercises given to do at home, surgery has been avoided on some of my affected fingers. The fingers that still required surgery were given great post surgical treatment and exercises.

I am working with an excellent therapist who was able to figure out how to help my sore shoulder. I want to get better and am willing to work for it, and she is supporting me in that. The office is busy: a lot of people in a small space, but the staff are friendly.

Commonwealth Hand and Physical Therapy is a fantastic place dedicated to its clients' progress and well-being. This practice functions as a team, where each member's efforts are directed toward a common goal: their clients' recovery. I have never experienced such an incredible unity of effort for the betterment of patients. The physical therapists and their assistants go above and beyond while designing and implementing various tools to help their clients. Every single person in this office works for your betterment. A great sense of humor, friendly faces, good jokes, and a welcoming atmosphere help patients overcome the pain and pressure associated with serious medical conditions. It is, without a doubt, the best place in Lexington to seek help!

Commonwealth Hand Therapy is a great place to recover from an orthopedic injury. I suffered a fractured radius after I took a bad fall. The staff and therapists at CHT have been welcoming and very focused on improving my range of motion. I am impressed with the knowledge and skills of all the therapists, as they work with many different injuries and conditions, and support each other. It can be very busy at times, but runs smoothly.
